Here’s a round-up of the stupid, ridiculous crap coming from the Trump Freak Show.
“Students For Trump” breaking federal law by refusing to reveal sources of their money
The college organization Students for Trump (SFT) hasn’t disclosed who its donors are since July 2016, despite being legally required to do so.
A Daily Beast report explained that SFT coordinated with the Trump campaign during the 2016 election to get out the vote for millennials and run a social media advocacy campaign. Despite questions about troll farms and Russia paying for a robust social media campaign, the political action committee hasn’t been questioned by the Federal Elections Commission as to who their donors were.
Trump equates school shooting to missing a putt
During a speech to the U.S. governors Monday, President Donald Trump bragged that he would have run into the building to subdue the shooter who attacked Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School. CNN host Don Lemon was audibly horrified.
“I want highly trained people that have a natural talent, like hitting a baseball or hitting a golf ball, or putting,” Trump said. “How come some people always make the four-footer and some people under pressure can’t even take their club back. Right? Some people can’t take their club back.”
To “bring your club back” is to line up the shot for the swing prior to striking the ball.
“I really believe I’d run in there even if I didn’t have a weapon,” Trump went on to say.
Bullshit. Trump had five deferments from military service during the Vietnam War. He’s a coward. As for comparing responding to a school shooting to missing a putt . . .
Finally!! White House Chief of Staff John Kelly is fed up with Jared and Ivanka “playing government”
White House aides resent Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner, and chief of staff John Kelly and other senior officials were reportedly infuriated that the president’s daughter represented the U.S. in South Korea.
President Donald Trump’s daughter and son-in-law occupy a unique position in the White House, where they serve as senior aides, and their dual roles has frustrated colleagues and drawn outside criticism, reported CNN.
The chief of staff has largely ignored her agenda and has shrugged off her child tax credit as a “pet project,” according to a source.
Kelly was not happy that Ivanka was sent to the Olympic closing ceremonies as nuclear tensions with North Korea complicate American relations with South Korea, a source close to the president said.
“This isn’t like going to Italy,” the source told CNN. “The stakes are far higher and more complex.”
