Pennsylvania church holds service to bless AR-15 rifles

Parishioners in Pennsylvania are planning to attend church services armed with AR-15 rifles so that they can be blessed, WNEP reported.

“This will be a big thing for us. It’s a new stage for us because it incorporates the rod of iron, as it is in Revelations. Revelations talks about the returning Christ ruling with the rod of iron,” said Tim Elder.

Sanctuary Church and Rod of Iron Ministries is an offshoot of the Unification Church, founded by the late Sun Myung Moon. It is led by his son, the Rev. Sean Moon.

“This rod of iron is the AR-15, in today’s terms,” Elder claimed.

Elder is referencing Revelation 2:27.

“And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of my Father,” the King James translation reads. Other translations refer to an “iron scepter” instead of “rod of iron.”

Sun Myung Moon also founded the conservative Washington Times.

The AR-15 blessing ceremony will occur in Dreher Township in Northeast Pennsylvania. The Moon family moved their Kahr Firearms factory to nearby Blooming Grove in 2015.

The Rev. Sean Moon attended the Kahr Firearms grand opening, which is run by his brother, Justin Moon.

“We are so inspired to be in this land, so different from other states in which we’ve been,” said Reverend Sean Moon, Sanctuary Church.

Kahr Firearms moved to Pennsylvania to be able to manufacture so-called, “Tommy Guns” — semi-automatic Thompson submachine guns. The Prohibition-era weapon is also known as the ‘Chicago Typewriter.’

“We had to look for more gun-friendly state in northeast. Pennsylvania as a large state is most gun-friendly northeastern state,” Justin Moon explained.

“It’s the minority that keeps on saying we have an issue, issue is decided,” Justin Moon argued, adding “we love freedom, we love our guns, we’re not going to give them up.”

After the benediction, the congregation is invited to the local high school where they will kill everyone in sight.

Weekend round-up of facts for you TeaPublican assholes

A wave is coming; TeaPublican Party likely will not survive

Republican lawmakers, candidates, strategists and funders are sounding the alarm that November’s elections could be disastrous for the party and that only key structural advantages could shield the party from losing both houses of Congress.

Vanity Fair‘s Abigail Tracy said on Sunday that recent losses in bellwether races around the country have sown fear among GOP faithful.

“These races are like canaries in the coal mine,” said former Democratic Rep. Steve Israel (NY), ex-chairman of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. “For Republicans, the canaries are dying.”

Earlier this year, losses in special elections in Georgia, Montana and South Carolina seemed to indicate that anti-Trump sentiment would not be sufficient enough to turn longtime red districts blue.

Recent months, however, brought a string of defeats including former Alabama Supreme Court Justice Roy Moore, a far-right candidate who received high-profile support from former White House adviser Steve Bannon.

“Ten months out,” wrote Tracy, “strategists see the trend as a potential harbinger of the legendary blue wave in the 2018 midterms that could rob of the G.O.P. of its majority in the House — and possibly, the Senate.”

Without former President Barack Obama and longtime conservative bogeyman Hillary Clinton to run against, Republicans are left with one major political figure to align themselves with or to oppose, the historically unpopular president.

That’s right — no Obama, no Hillary, and voters don’t give a shit about Pelosi and Schumer.  It’s all about Trump — the human piece of shit in the White House.

Trump’s unpopularity likely to cost Republicans three Congressional seats in NJ

Democratic chances of keeping one House seat in New Jersey and winning two more have improved, according to one of the Washington-based publications tracking congressional races.

In its latest ratings, Inside Elections gave a slight edge to Rep. Josh Gottheimer, D-5th Dist.

It called the 2nd District seat being vacated by retiring Rep. Frank LoBiondo, R-2nd Dist., a toss-up.

And it downgraded the chances of Rep. Leonard Lance, R-7th Dist., to win re-election.

While a president’s party traditionally loses congressional seats in an off-year election, President Donald Trump is having an outsized influence in a state where only 34 percent in a Gallup poll approve of his performance in office.

Trump administration snowflakes lose their shit whenever anyone tells it like it is

Sunday night, on MSNBC’s “Kasie D.C.” with Kasie Hunt, the panel mocked members of President Donald Trump’s administration — like EPA head Scott Pruitt — who keep getting caught spending lavishly on private planes, first class seats on commercial flights and luxury accommodations on the taxpayers’ dime.

Eric and Don, Jr. — two dimwitted assholes — egged on Trump to unleash his twitter storm against school shooting victims

CNN’s Boris Sanchez reported on Sunday that sources say President Donald Trump’s weekend Twitter attacks on the FBI and special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation were spurred by his sons Donald Jr. and Eric.

Sanchez told anchor Fredericka Whitfield that the president has chose to spend the weekend indoors and away from the golf course to avoid the “bad optics” of being seen golfing while the grieving families of Parkland, FL lay the victims of Wednesday’s mass shooting to rest.

The trouble with the dumb-as-dirt president and his child-like attention span is that it has left him open to the influence of his equally mentally deficient sons, who have shown themselves to eagerly swallow racist conspiracy theories and other disinformation campaigns.

“He’s essentially spending the weekend inside watching cable news and speaking with his sons,” Sanchez said, “who sources tell us have been urging him to respond to some of the allegations that have been made in recent weeks and to take on the FBI in light of the revelations in the indictment.”

Students across US to stage anti-gun, anti-Trump, anti-Republican rallies — and these young people will vote in 2020

Stunned by the deadliest high school shooting in U.S. history, students mobilized across the country on Sunday to organize rallies and a national walkout in support of stronger gun laws, challenging politicians they say have failed to protect them.

Students from Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, where a former student is accused of murdering 17 people on Wednesday using an assault-style rifle, joined others on social media to plan the events, including a Washington march.

“I felt like it was our time to take a stand,” said Lane Murdock, 15, of Connecticut. “We’re the ones in these schools, we’re the ones who are having shooters come into our classrooms and our spaces.”

Murdock, who lives 20 miles (32 km) from Sandy Hook Elementary School where 20 children and six adults were shot to death five years ago, drew more than 50,000 signatures on an online petition on Sunday calling on students to walk out of their high schools on April 20.

Instead of going to classes, she urged her fellow students to stage protests on the 19th anniversary of an earlier mass shooting at Columbine High School in Colorado.

Students from the Florida high school are planning a “March for Our Lives” in Washington on March 24 to call attention to school safety and ask lawmakers to enact gun control.

I am asking all black men and women in the US, this week, go to a gun store, buy an AR-15 rifle, 500 rounds of ammo, and a dozen 20-round magazines.
If you do this, by the end of the week, Congress will ban the manufacture, import, sale and possession of the AR-15 and high-capacity magazines.

Trump is trash.

Trump visits a few high school shooting victims then goes to exclusive party at his resort.

President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump didn’t spend overlong pondering the tragedy at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School on Friday night, according to

The first couple made short stops at the Broward County Sheriff’s Office and at the Pompano Beach hospital that received the Parkland massacre’s dead and wounded.

After Trump met with a small group of survivors and their family members at the hospital and delivered remarks to the press at the sheriff’s office, the president and first lady continued on to Mar-a-Lago, Trump’s private golf resort.

According to CNN’s Kevin Liptak, the Trumps attended a “disco party” in Mar-a-Lago’s ballroom. The party was dedicated to celebrating Studio 54, the notoriously decadent 1970s nightclub.

Only trash would give “thumbs-up” after vising victims of school slaughter.

President Donald Trump never seems to miss an opportunity to take a deeply upsetting national tragedy and somehow make it even worse. From his determination to equivocate after the death of Charlottesville protester Heather Heyer to his latest tone-deaf debacle — the jaunty “thumbs up” gesture the president flashed when posing for a photo with first responders to Wednesday’s massacre at Marjorie Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, FL.

The Trumps sped through their hospital visit and the president’s hasty press conference at the Broward County Sheriff’s Office before the motorcade swept off into the night and deposited the chief executive and his spouse at an exclusive invitation-only “disco party” at Mar-a-Lago.

Let this sink in

The number of school shootings that have happened since the year 2000 around the world:

USA: 212

Let that sink in.
