Washington insider site Axios reported Sunday that an ally of President Donald Trump, who is “as close as it gets,” fears if the president is questioned by special prosecutor Robert Mueller he’ll commit perjury. Not because he is lying, but because he doesn’t even know the truth anymore.
According to reporter Jonathan Swan, the source said “Trump doesn’t deal in reality. He creates his own reality and he actually believes it.”
The writer of TrumpNation came under Trump’s twitchy lawsuit trigger-finger wrote in Bloomberg last week that it “wasn’t pretty” when he saw the self-described billionaire testify under oath. That story has not only made it to the White House, the entire west wing staff reviewed it.

Fresno, CA’s daily newspaper the Fresno Bee on Friday ripped into House Intelligence Committee Chairman Rep. Devin Nunes (R-CA) for “doing the dirty work” on behalf of Donald Trump’s White House.
In a scathing editorial, the Fresno Bee charged Nunes with failing to represent his constituents in California by “waving around a secret memo attacking the FBI” instead of focusing on “health care, jobs” and Dreamers.
“Instead, he’s doing dirty work for House Republican leaders trying to protect President Donald Trump in the Russia investigation,” the Fresno Bee wrote.
The editorial noted the timing of Nunes’ secret memo, which coincided with reports special counsel Robert Mueller is honing in on possible obstruction of justice by the president, having interviewed former FBI Director James Comey and Attorney General Jeff Session last week.
“Nunes of Tulare is sheltered in a relatively safe Republican district, and may believe he will pay no political price for unfairly attacking law enforcement and protecting Trump,” the Fresno Bee wrote. “But his performance as chairman of the highly sensitive House Intelligence Committee has been nothing short of embarrassing.”
Nunes has a strong Democratic challenger for this next election in the form of a Fresno County Deputy District Attorney, so Nunes may have sacrificed his political career in a desperate attempt to defend the Kremlin’s puppet in the White House.
Kind of makes you wonder why.
President Trump ordered aides to smear potential FBI witnesses who could confirm he tried to fire Mueller: report
BY DENIS SLATTERY NEW YORK DAILY NEWS Saturday, January 27, 2018, 3:26 PM
President Trump not only sought to have special counsel Robert Mueller fired, he also sought to discredit top FBI officials out of fear that they could be witnesses against him.
Following former FBI Director James Comey’s testimony before the Senate intelligence committee last June, Trump ordered aides to smear three potential FBI witnesses who could confirm that the President tried to end or influence Mueller’s investigation, Foreign Policy reported on Friday.
Trump, who was reportedly talked down from ordering Mueller’s dismissal last June after White House lawyer Don McGahn threatened to quit, fired Comey a month earlier.
Stephanie Cliffords, the adult film star who goes by the stage name “Stormy Daniels,” may have signed a nondisclosure agreement after getting a $130,000 hush money settlement from Donald Trump’s attorney in the final weeks of the 2016 election, but she’s cashing in on her newfound fame. Last weekend she packed a strip club in South Carolina, the advertising for her appearance screamed, “HE SAW HER LIVE. YOU CAN TOO!”
This week she’s got top billing at a Las Vegas strip, where the Little Darling club’s advertising pitch for her appearance is “See the mistress live.” It seems Stormy Daniels has realized her story is worth a lot more than $130,000 and she’s figured out a way to bilk her sordid affair for all it is worth. She’s not talking about the affair, she’s letting the club billboards and fliers do the talking for her.
After her Las Vegas stint, she’ll be making an unexpected appearance on the late night show Jimmy Kimmel Live. Host Jimmy Kimmel announced the appearance on Twitter.
Daniels seems unlikely to violate her nondisclosure agreement to spill the beans. It is hilarious she was able to get $130,000 from Trump after fully telling her story to In Touch Weekly in 2011. And now she’s making the full media rounds, including an interview with Inside Edition. You can see the teaser video below and her coy reaction when asked about the affair.
As Stormy Daniels increasingly takes center stage, is it any coincidence that Melania Trump canceled her planned trip to the Davos conference with Donald Trump? While he was away, she took an abrupt and unscheduled trip to West Palm Beach. One can only hope she’s getting her affairs in order and packing a few bags to take her son, Barron, and leave Donald Trump. It must be humiliating for Melania Trump to have to read the credible reports of him trying to have sex with not one, not two, but three porn stars in 2006, all while newlywed Melania was home with four-month-old baby Barron.
Equally humiliating is the claim author Michael Wolff made on Bill Maher last week that Donald Trump is engaged in a current extramarital affair in the White House. If you missed that interview, watch:
Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg will not be in attendance at President Trump’s first State of the Union address on Tuesday.
Ginsburg is scheduled to be at Roger Williams University in Rhode Island for her speaking tour on Tuesday, according to The Associated Press.
While Ginsburg has been critical of Trump in the past, her talk at the university was announced last August.
Ginsburg did not attend Trump’s address to Congress last year after attending all eight of former President Obama’s addresses.
Justices Samuel Alito and Clarence Thomas also did not attend Trump’s address.
President Donald Trump is reportedly frustrated that he doesn’t have more influence over the U.S. Department of Justice as special counsel Robert Mueller continues to probe his administration.
The president wants to release a bullshit classified memo written by congressional Republicans that allegedly documents FBI surveillance abuse, according to The Washington Post.
However, that wish conflicts with the desires of the Justice Department, which has said it would be “extraordinarily reckless” for the memo to be released before the department had a chance to review it.
White House chief of staff John Kelly has informed Attorney General Jeff Sessions of Trump’s hope to see the document made public. The Washington Post said the incident “marked another example of the president’s year-long attempts to shape and influence an investigation that is fundamentally outside his control.”
Inside sources also told The Washington Post that Trump has expressed anger and frustration and complained in recent weeks that he doesn’t understand why he cannot order “my guys” at the Justice Department to simply do what he wants. He reportedly referred to the Department of Justice as “Trump’s Justice Department.” And that, folks, is the problem — it’s the United States Department of Justice and they are not “my guys.” This is NOT Trump Enterprises.
The memo purportedly contains evidence that the FBI and Department of Justice are biased against Trump. But Democrats who have seen it, such as House Intelligence Committee ranking member Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA), have claimed that the memo is purely a political document designed to undermine the Russia probe.

The CEO of SCOTTeVEST recently claimed that his company advertises on Fox News because the network’s viewers are “extremely gullible” and “fucking idiots.”
Scott Jordan, whose company sells a vest which features multiple inside pockets designed to carry items such as a phone, tablet, water bottle and more, posted his derogatory comments on Facebook, Breitbart News reported.
“I love meeting new people that recognize me and my company from all of our television commercials,” Jordan wrote. “I am on a ski lift and the following exchange just happened and happens often.”
Jordan wrote that he asks the person where they saw his advertisement. “Invariably people say FOXNews.”
“I laugh to myself,” Jordan wrote, “and tell them that we primarily advertise on Fox because we find their viewership to be extremely gullible and much easier to sell than other networks.”
Jordan then mocks his potential customers. “The look on their face at that time is priceless. I am not kidding you. I get to tell them they are fucking idiots while getting rich off them.”
Yep, those Fox viewers simply cannot accept the truth.
Especially when it is about them.
Joe Arpaio has spent decades of his life terrorizing immigrants and anyone who looked like they might be an immigrant. Now he’s terrifying his fellow Arizona Republicans—by planning a Senate run. A group of Republicans have come up with a draft resolution before the state party’s annual meeting, hoping to butter Arpaio up and then ease him out of the race to replace retiring Sen. Jeff Flake, because they don’t think he can win.
The draft resolution lavishes praise on Arpaio’s law enforcement career, time as Maricopa County sheriff, and support of other Republicans, but then concludes that “two well qualified candidates, former state Senator Kelli Ward and U.S. Representative Martha McSally, are in the race for U.S. Senator for Arizona” and therefore “the Arizona Republican Party expresses its gratitude to Sheriff Arpaio for his many years of service, and respectfully urges him to exit the race for U.S. senator from Arizona.”
The resolution backers’ concern is that Arpaio could become their party’s next Roy Moore.
“I don’t think that we’re going to get him to drop out of the race with it,” Marchant said of the resolution. “Our objective is to hopefully send a message throughout the state, and possibly throughout the country, to please don’t send millions of dollars into this race. … Obviously, we don’t think he can win. Ultimately, if in a best-case scenario, he did somehow win the primary and by some miracle can beat Kyrsten Sinema, then we’ve got two 90-year-olds in the Senate.”
As predicted, Arpaio has no plans to drop out, saying “I’m a fighter and I’m not going to bow out,” and continuing “Why don’t the other two drop out? Why me?” Because your fellow Republicans don’t think you can win, Joe. Because your name is toxic outside of your racist base.
