Clearly, “evangelicals” have no true moral compass

The term “moral compass” refers to fundamental, bedrock, non-negotiable personal convictions.  Each of us has — or should have — a fundamental opposition to murder.  That is, no matter how murder is carried out, it’s wrong.

Turns out that “evangelicals” — in spite of their moralizing, their “holier than thou” attitude, their bible-thumping, their constant preaching to the rest of us — turns out, they are HYPOCRITES.

HYPOCRITEA hypocrite preaches one thing, and does another. … The word hypocrite is rooted in the Greek word hypokrites, which means “stage actor, pretender, dissembler.” So think of a hypocrite as a person who pretends to be a certain way, but really acts and believes the total opposite.

And while we are at it, let’s add every single Republican to the hypocrite mob . . . for eight years they attacked President Obama 24/7 — he wore a tan suit; he put arugula on a salad; he played an occasional round of golf.  Now, Republicans give Trump a pass no matter how crude, how immoral, how hurtful his words and actions are.
