As a result of the Senate impeachment trial, US jurisprudence has changed dramatically and fundamentally.
Now, based on the Senate precedent, approved by the Chief Justice of the US Supreme Court:
- If you are subpoenaed to appear in court for any reason, you can tell the court to stuff it.
- If you are subpoenaed to provide documents to a court for any reason, you can tell the court to stuff it.
- If you end up in a court room on the witness stand, you do not have to say a word.
And that, folks, is what the Senate and the Supreme Court just said.
